A New Season: Algorithms

A New Season Last month, I decided to work in a company as an SDET (rundown of my initial thoughts: link ). That means ‘Software Developer in Test.’ However, as I went through the training, there were some issues presented to me: I found incorrect training parameters. In the 1st 3 weeks, it was mostly review: I literally only learned 1 new concept and 2 new lines of code, and I was expected to interview for a professional role in early October, 2021. I did not believe I could give my client a superior service. At this point, I wish them well, but I am pursuing other goals.  Now that the old season is done, a new sustainable app: Algorithms. More recently, I started attempting EN.605.621, Foundations of Algorithms. Much of the training data is technical: as it should be. But as second World War’s participants proved, Computer Scientists, today, need more than technical skill: they need righteous ethics.
